Thinking about getting tickets and heading out for the world cup, can anyone advise me what price range the tickets for the Irish games are?

    Cheers

Not sure if you can still buy tickets officially. You should expect to pay about €160 for the four pool games - cheapest category. Not sure what the higher categories are priced at.
Knock out stages are more expensive - about €140/€175 plus per ticket again this is for the cheaper categories.
Mention of tickets for sale here - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056002082&page=10
    and also some on www.toutless.com

You'd want to get accom booked up for match nights in match cities as it's proving hard for some.

I heard that there will be a block of tickets going on general release at some point in July, details are sketchy

Auckland isn't the only place that is hosting the Irish games, Three other places are! With a potential 4th if we get past the pool stages.;-)

article in yesterday's irish times talking to fans, many of whom were giving out about the prices for the quarter finals, ranging from $491 to $296 for adults, tickets for the semi finals are from $791 to $501 while tickets for the final are from $1278 to $767

    checked these prices on

incredible that the organisers can charge so much and the IRB are standing idly by, its makes the IRFU's ticketing fiasco last season to pale into insignificance...

hats off the to thousands of Irish fans who made the trip and coughed up to attend the games.

Bare in mind those prices are in Kiwi dollars but even still, bloody hell. Those prices are almost as ludicrous as those charged by Seb Coe and his croanies for the London Olympics next year.

That's a serious amount of money to pay to follow the team. Add to that price hikes for accomodation, flights, and general things like food and drink which no doubt has been hiked up for the world cup. Be interesting to know how much the trip out there set people back in total.

Crazy amount of empty seats at all the 1/4 final games, shocking that they overpriced the tickets by so much.
