Aer Lingus- Changing dates of flights.

    Hey boardsies.

Currently I have flights booked with Aer Lingus for 17th August-4th September from Dublin to Burgas Bulgaria. However there is quite a high possibility of having to repeat exams at the end of August so I may need to change the dates for my flight. I know it will cost me €35 euro to change it and then whatever the fare increase is.

However I have seen flights with Easy Jet for much less than Aer Lingus for the possible new dates I will be flying so if I could use Easy Jet, it would be excellent. However the thing is I do't have a 'flexi' ticket so I can't cancel the flight with Aer Lingus so my question is when changing the dates on an Aer Lingus flights, how long after my flight can i change my flight to?

Eg. My flights from 17th Aug- 4th September, could I change them to lets say 5th May- 12th May 2012 or is there a limit to the amount of days I can transfer them ahead to?

I know Aer Lingus flights can only be booked 330 days in advance so is this as far as I can change to or what?

All help will be greatly appreciated.

    Double GG

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. If you make a change today, the furthest out you could make it to would be approx the 330 days from now mark/up to the point where Aer Lingus have loaded their schedule.
