    Hi Folks

We took delivery today a a few new portable, and not so portable, compact multi media speaker options today...finallyy the range is starting to fill out again.

I'll start at the top and work down

    Philips SPA7210
    spa7210b_10_rtv_.jpg
These are very cool and deceptively heavy for their size (that helps the sound thats for sure!)

These are two way speakers rated at 40watts RMS total power and sound great, producing a suprising amount of bass that belies their size and nice crisp highs as well
They'll suit computers down to the ground and will work happily with which ever mp3 player you have.

These are Mains only units and cant be run off batteries so are perfect for home use of MP3 players, laptop and desktop PC's - you can always plug your portable DVD or CD player into them as well

    Spec here http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/spa7210b_10/spa7210b_10_pss_eng.pdf

    These are yours for €59.99

Next we have the Philips SPA3251
    spa3251_10_rtv_.jpg
These are very compact and for storage or travelling they clip together.
They are also pretty verstile in that you can run them in one of 3 ways
    1) passively from your headphone jack
    2) powered from the USB port on your PC
    3) power 'em with 3x AAA batteries

They'll certainly sond better than the built in speakers found on notebooks/laptops and are perfect when you dont need loud or party speakers

Have a look here for spec http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/spa3251_10/spa3251_10_pss_eng.pdf

These are yours for only €24.99
