I assume you are talking about hand embroidery? If its machine embroidery just take it in to a firm that does machine embroidery, with the logo picture, and let them do it.

If it is hand embroidery, the first thing to consider is the suitability of your logo. If it is a clear line drawing, no problem. If it has filled in parts that will require a different approach, if it has photographic or shaded parts I would reconsider.

You would embroider the logo directly onto the fabric of the hoodie. I suggest you practise on a piece of fabric first though. The main thing about getting embroidery to look good is to make it neat and even. For outlines I would suggest chain stitch http://www.embroiderersguild.com/stitch/stitches/chain.html, or check youtube for instruction videos.

If it is a biggish logo you could fill in with chain stitch too, or use satin stitch, but that takes a good bit of practise to make it look good.

You will need a fine-ish needle with a long eye for preference, and embroidery silk. (It is not really silk) You can get stranded thread which has 6 strands and you divide it into two groups of three. Or you can use DCM cotton perle, which is nice to use but expensive and not that easily available.

You also need to transfer the logo outline to the fabric, but that depends a bit on the logo and the colour of the hoodie.

If you put up a pic of the logo it would be easier to advise you.

Yea it would be by hand. The logo can be either the outline or with a fill on it id like to try both you know trial and error and all that. Thanks for the link ill look at that in a few.
Thats the image but it can be like a black outline on a white hoodie or the other way around. For a white hoodie i could use a light shade pencil or a dull fabric marker.

Thats a very good logo for a hoodie, and if I were doing it I would applique it.

You need a piece of fabric the size of the logo, and a piece of Bondaweb also the same size. Use a firm fabric that will not fray easily.

Trace the logo onto the back of the fabric, remember it will be reversed.

Place the Bondaweb on the back of the fabric. Bondaweb is double sided sticky so be sure to leave the paper on it, paper side up. Iron onto the paper until the sticky transfers to the logo.

Cut out the logo. Remove the paper. Slot the hoodie onto the ironing board so there is just a single thickness of it, carefully place the logo onto the hoodie, fabric up and adhesive on the hoodie. Cover with thin cotton fabric or baking parchment and press with the iron - don't rub the iron around, press it down, leave it a second and lift, repeat. The fabric will stick to the hoodie.

I would suggest you then use blanket stitch to sew neatly and with quite close stitches round the edge of the logo. Or if you can use a sewing machine, put in thread the same colour as the logo and do a small, close zig-zag stitch round the edge.
