They are legit and easy to get a quote on. Personally I've always found www.123.ie to give me the cheapest quote though.

Ring around to brokers you'll get better quotes.

I used insure.ie when I got my first car - they are a broker and were the most competitive at the time. I've renewed every year since then with them as they keep coming back with the cheapest quotes (and believe me when I say that I do get the phone book out and ring around). This year my insurance went from €500 to €330, when I was expecting it to stay static, so I'm a very happy camper.

I use insure.ie too. I find them easy to deal with and they've given me the best quotes two years running now. I've never had to make a claim with them though, so I don't know how easy to deal with they are on that account!
