Self Catering Weekend Break for a Couple? (Ireland)..

    Hey guys, I'm hoping to bring the missus on a self catering weekend break for her birthday during the Summer.

    I've got like e500 to spend on it though. Where is a lovely place to bring her in Ireland? I never really have cash so I rarely get to spoil her.

    She would be into a whole cottage idea in some nice part of Ireland. We could self-cater too for most of it, maybe even a meal out.

    If e500 can get me more than a weekend, even as long as a week, that would be great.

    I hear places like Galway, Killarney and other places in Kerry can be nice.

    Any ideas? As I tried to bring her to the Aran Islands before but failed.

    i took my o/h to Kilarney Lakeland cotteges last year, its quite reasonable and there is loads to do in Kerry.They have a website - check them out:).
