Hi, apologies if its the wrong forum.

I am an Irish national married to a Chinese lady and we have 2 kids. We want my wifes sister to come to Ireland for a 3 month holiday to help us with our kids etc.

Her application ahs been refused by the Irish embassy in CHina on grounds that they thik she is likely to stay here and work illegally and not return home. Which is absolutely rediculous. I am so angry.

They say to write to them providing eveidence to the contrary if we want to appeal.

Any advice for what I can do? If i went to a TD or such to get some back-up?

    Thanks,
    B
