ford focus egr valve

    hi,i have a 2005 mark 2 ford focus 1.4 petrol.i need some help in locating the egr valve as it needs cleaning...for the life of me i cannot find it!...any help would be most appreciated...a pic would be of great help too...cheers

    They are built into the plastic inlet manifold as far as I remember.

    Wouldn't be a common problem at all with those, what issue are you having?

    Hey, I can't know everything:P Probably explains why I've never delt with a faulty one:eek::D

    Is it the mondeo that has it built into the inlet mani, or am I thinking of a different car alltogether?:o

    Ah your thinking of a different car. The Mondeo 1.8/2.0 petrol has it on the back of the block above the bell housing. A tiny little lad.
