Jailbreaking & Roaming - Stupid Question Time!

    Hi all,

    I am going away next week to a country that is quite expensive for using Iphone, so i plan to only text or make minimal use of phone calls. I am looking to Jailbreak Iphone 4 tonight, but i am just wondering if i do JB, and wish to turn off all internet data, is all i still do

    General
    Network - Data Roaming - Off?

    The Cellular Data option above it, this is currently ON in Ireland, i take it this needs to stay on abroad to avail of SMS and phone calls yes? Im just wondering if Iphone is JB, will it still not run up charges with any apps etc over the internet due to the fact it is JB, even if i have selected data roaming OFF?

    Any advice is appreciated!
