Saw the LG 32ld450 in Tesco for €349, not a fabulous price in general for this model but these ones had the W in the product code which is supposed to be IPS panel. The superb viewing angle I saw on the display model would seem to confirm this.

When I was looking for one of theses TVs earlier this year all model in the shops had crappy panels so I ended up settling on a Sony Bravia.

Currys/DID have been doing this model at €299 for a while now.

Yeah like I said I checked other shops, currys, harvey norman, argos longford, ganlys all the 32ld450 tvs they had had rubbish panels in them. €299 is way too much with a bad panel in it.

An IPS panel(LG, panasonic tvs mainly) will have better viewing angles but they always have poorer black levels than VA panels(Sony, samsung, sharp..)

At €299 for that model aint a bad deal to be fair. 32" lcd's are becoming almost absurdly cheap..
