    Has anyone on boards got hair extensions done here? If so would you recommend them?

    Yep, got mine done in Ballinteer last Jan. Got them taken out recently and put back in again. Love them. Very good colour match and my hair seemed exactly the same as before when they were out. No bald patches or damage so I could see.

    How long did they last you? how did you find the quality of the hair and are you re using it?

    Just want to be sure before i get them done as i had micro rings in and they turned out to be a disaster!!! the hair went like straw within a couple of weeks and i couldn't leave my hair straight as you could see the distinction between my own hair and the extensions :mad: Still fighting for my money back from the salon that did them!

    I got new hair for the second time. I straighten it every day with a GHD so I thought it was best to get new hair.

    It lasted 4 months. There was no matting or dreading afterwards. My own hair grows relatively slowly though.

    I've attached a pic of me on a normal day with my extensions which had been in about 3 months when taken. The hair felt like my own. It was a bit silkier at the start but a bit of straighening made it feel the same as my own.

    In my opinion, the colour match was very good. No one I knew guessed, they just said my hair had grown.

    The people in the salon are very nice. They always remember my name and the hair dresser always says hi and asks how my extensions are getting on when I go in to get my nails done.
