i have a question about altering some jeans i own

see they were slim leg jeans but they were really long so i had to turn them up so now they are just normal kinda flared jeans which i hate

i have not worn them in a bit and i dont want to thrown them away

So is there anyway of altering them in the leg to make them kind of slim leg or is there no hope at all for them?

i will be going to a tailors for all alterations as i cant sew for crap :o

    thanks in advance

    :) xx

A decent tailor should be able to adjust the seams to make them straight - 7 for all Mankind actually have a bunch of Ginger flares altered to be straight leg on sale on Kildare Village! Especially since they were originally slim I think it should be possible but it won't be cheap. It does depend on how much wear there is though, if the original shape is altered too much from wear then it might not be so easy.

What they will do is split the seam to the knee or just above, cut out some fabric and reattach to the seam. There's no guarantee you'll like the result tho!
