I am watching E3 thing now, as i could not watch it last night.

i was very impressed with this new 3D telly bundle. 499$ for 24inch 3d telly, ressistance 3, hdmi cable, 3d glasses.

even if it would be 499eu it still be prety damn good offer. what are your thoughts? i bet irish pricing will be crap!

Well this Sony 32 inch 3D is 999 on Pixmania :

So a smaller 24 inch + game + hdmi + 3D glasses worth (I think) $69 plus the cool feature of splitscreen without splitscreen, plus the PS branding (if you like that)... for 499 seems good to me.

I wish it was a little bigger but then it would be more expensive and I guess the whole reason they are introducing it is to have an affordable way for people to get into 3D.

In fairness it's about time someone got real with 3D TV pricing. There's no witchcraft to it, the companies have just been trying to keep the price up so the price of non-3D TVs wouldn't collapse.

Why not just get a 3D monitor ?

    Much cheaper option.

Sorry I'm not sure if all of these wil work with the PS3 but I'm sure one or two do.

24 inch is a nice size for gaming. Not sure what the 3D would look like. Still wouldn't buy a 3D tv until the get rid of the glasses and other problems I've heard about like headaches. Its still a novelty really.

i personally think its a solid as hell deal. even at 499eu. what would be the release date of it, and who would supply it?

I have a 32 inch Samsung and do find the HD and BRs look good but I was down in a family member's house yesterday and they had a similar model (Series 4) but it was 42inch.

    The difference seemed huge.

I can't see myself going smaller in size-only bigger.

24" would be too small for me. I decided a while ago that my next tv will be at least 50" whenever I get around to buying it.

I think 24'' is perfect size.. As long as you aint standing too far away.. Also this tv has something about Multiplayer playing where it doesn't distract you or something.. I wish though you didnt have to take Resistance 3 and HDMI cable .. Probably will pick this up though and the PS Vita shortly after..

3D is nothing more than a gimmick imo. HD is good enough for me :)

I have seen 3D tvs at 32 inch going for about 700 euro online, so its isn't that great a deal imho.

I'm going to wait until 3D TV is available without glasses, I'm happy with my 40" HD TV.
