Hi. I'm just looking for opinions on expected salary range for a specific job.

I work in IT. I have an engineering based degree and started in a tech support role. I progressed internally and now do a combination of tech support and IT work. I work on up to 5 different sites and the work ranges from anything like basic domain admin to PC rebuilds, email setup etc. Right up to server support and basic infrastructure jobs, depending on what site I'm on any given day/week or what happens to come up at any given time so it really is a bit of everything.

I have been in the company 5 years and have plenty of experience but only IT specific qualicication I have outside my degree is the A+ course I did 3 or 4 years ago.

Are there any other IT workers who could tell me what a fair or even expected salary would be for that level of work with my experience?

Google Brightwater Salary Survey and that might give you a ball park. Its difficult to estimate as you span more than one area.

without know the exact details of your experience / qualifications, but considering that you have only one post degree training under your belt and your experience consists of relatively low level support and admin I would suggest a fair salary would be in the region of 28k - 32k based on competency.

Salary surveys are your friend! Most recruiters watch them as their guideline.
