Have the shifters and derailers on my bike since May. No problems, work brilliant.

    Id recommend them.

Use a shimano or sram cassette.

Iv got an ultegra 10 speed cassette and mavic 10 speed chain, sram apex crank set.

Conicidentally, I stumbled across a positive review of the Microshift Arsis 10spd groupset this morning, here, which might be of some use.

I had the Microshift Arsis. I liked the big chunky feel of the hoods. The shifting mechanism was easy enough to reach from both the drops and the hoods. Very loud though. I did encounter a problem when the chain somehow came off one of the jockey wheels on the rear derailleur. It cost me a new RD, hanger and chain.

We'll know a lot more about them shortly as a lot of the current Felt bikes are equipped with the shifters.

discussed here http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?p=2796894 and not very favourable comments either. My opinion would be,because it's the new boy on the block,it will feel different to use than the established brands, and therefore not be welcomed straight away by people. There may be "teething" problems with the design and use, but I'm sure they will get a market.

There is a bike mechanic on here, Holyboy, who seems to like microshift. That at least should attest to their reliability. However, if you're not sure about venturing into the unknown then you could always get Sram Force shifters, FD & RD (mircoshift don't do brakes, cranks or cassettes) from Merlin Cycles for just a little more than the price stated in doozerie's link.
