I got a walker saorview box, set it up, scanned for channels but i got a message saying no channels available, check me antenne. I tried checking my connections but no luck. I live near the city centre and have no problem receiving tv3. Anyone have any suggestions what the problem might be?

What kind of aerial are you using (is it by any chance an anonymous wall outlet)?

What aerial are you using, and when it scans for channels, does it pause at any particular channel numbers?

It's just the aerial on the roof. Not sure beacuse I'm just renting the place. I don't think it's pausing at any particular channels. Not sure what an annonymous wall outlet is.

It wouldn't be a UPC cable outlet?

:D It means you're not sure what it's for, maybe (as Sam suggested) a cable tv point.

Try borrowing an indoor aerial off a friend and see what you pick up - should work. Your aerial plate may not be connected to anything
