Evening! Hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend!
I have probably overdoing sports & exercise the last few months: football, cycling, gym, yoga & running,,,, oh yea & very physical work on my garden.
Anyway, I went for a long run about 3 weeks ago, came back and did some situps & pressups.
Next morning I woke up & felt as if I had been stabbed, just above & right of belly button.
Went to doctor on Sunday & she said I'd torn/ trauma to stomach muscle & had a blood clot or haematoma.
Went for an ultrasound & this confirmed the lump was a clot.
For 3 weeks I have rested, lots of sleep & no exercise. This weekend I have started walking on beach.
Issue is..... Have Wicklow 100 booked next weekend, Ring of Kerry on 2 July & a weeks cycling in Alps in mid July!

Right now my stomach is tight, but not too sore.

Doctor said no strenuous exercise yet: said it could take a while to heal.

I am not looking for a doctors/professional opinion: just throwing it out there; what you do? Would you risk a couple of spins or just hold off completely ; I'm probably going to do the latter!

    Arequipa.

Doctor has advised no strenuous exercise

    Take your doctor's advice
