Oh you've you're work cut out for ya.... Tried more times than I can remember and couldn't get it, I think you have to had transferred your music to itunes as mp3 in order to extract it as mp3 and that's hidden in the itunes settings somewhere, I gave up and deleted my itunes and "found" the music I'd deleted in mp3 elsewhere!

Hope some itunes genius comes along for ya though.

Can you just drag your i tunes music to a folder on your pc, then convert back to mp3 format and then drag to your htc?.

I'm not full sure but that would be my first crack at it..

Don't think the itunes format is convertible, least it wasn't when I last tried it.

are you just trying to sync mp3s with your phone? all i had to do was make a playlist in itunes for your phone music and have doubletwist take that playlist and sync it to your phone, was very straight forward

I'm going to take a wild guess.

    Plug usb cable into phone.
Plug the other end into PC usb port.
Notice "usb connected" notification on phone.
Drag down notification, select mount. Then ok to confirm.
Notice external drive appears on PC.
Copy music files from PC folder to external drive folder.
    Select unmount on phone.

i'm sure it was as its what I do. I was just pointing out someone searching the forum might come across it and the oh so helpful "i did it" won't help them and then a new thread of the same thing occurs.

That's the main way of loading music onto ANY android device btw. You can copy any files you want over, use your phone like a USB stick.

How do you copy itunes songs to external drive? Just bought my daughter a HTC smart and I can get as far as "Notice appears on PC"
