    Gym Workouts

    Workout A

Dumbbell Squat (with one dumbbell held to chest)
Dumbbell Deadlift (with a dumbbell in each arm)
    Overhead Dumbbell Swing
    Dips
    Hanging Lateral Leg Raise
    One Arm Rows

    Workout B

    Dumbbell Bench Press
    Dumbbell Shoulder Press
    Dumbbell Renegade Row
    Chinups
    Hanging Shrug
    Dumbbell Shrugs

The above two workouts are alternated and done on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings

    Home Workouts

    Monday Weights Session

    Dumbbell Lateral Raise
    Triceps Press with Triceps Bar
    Biceps Curl with Ez-Curl Bar
    Incline Bench Press

    Saturday Gym Ring Session

    Pullups
    L-Sits
    Pushups
    Ring Dips
    Body Row

I want my gym workouts to take precedence over these so I'd do these on Monday evenings and Saturdays. This will ensure a rest day before every gym session.

Hey man, I cant comment on your routine. What I will comment on is I remember you just changed it about 2 weeks ago. How come that isnt working for you? To be honest you might be better off googling what results you want and then just getting a sample program from a reputable website, personal trainer etc.

    Thank for posting mrpink.

The gym routine I posted about is going well and I'm raising on all the weights - it may be progress and it may be just starting too low to begin with (I'll know in a few weeks :D ).

The reason I'm posting now is that I'm currently doing the home routine on random days and I want to get it set down in stone when I should be doing it. Also, I haven't done the Gym Ring routine as I'm only expecting to receive them in the post this week.

I'm quite liking the routine above and think I'll probably stick with it until August at least. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't overdoing it or missing anything (don't think I could be giving the amount of different movements above) :D

Another thought I'm pondering is to keep this routine until I hit a 85kg Incline Bench (that's the amount of weight I have at home) and then buy a power rack, bench and olympic weights set for home. I currently do a 35kg Incline Bench so this would mean sticking with the routine for the most of the year - with some room for a cut at the end of the year.

I've been told on another forum that the above is too much and that I should stick to the gym workouts and drop the home workouts (meaning I wouldn't get to use my new gym rings :( )....

    Any thoughts on this?

I wouldn't do the Monday evening session after a workout but the Saturday one should be fine.
