Just about to kick off. Zidane, Figo, Redondo, Morientes, Helguera, Karanka, Rummenigge, Makaay, Elber, Sagnol and co all taking part. Should be fun :)

I was at this. Zidane would still be well capable of playing at a pretty high level.

    Davor Suker... not as much.

Very entertaining game, though from the seats up in the heavens it was hard at times to keep track of who was who with all the changes.

Was that Elber playing up front for Bayern in the first half?

    8-3 to Real.

Was at this also. Twas a fun game. Davor Suker's last minute chipped penalty won me 10e so I went away happy.

Zidane was a class apart, a joy to watch. Obviously not the same as watching him in his prime but it was still great to see him play in the flesh.

Also that Paulo Sergio goal was incredible!

It would be a different story in a full paced, competitive game. You never lose the touch, but the legs tell a different story.

He obviously wouldn't be like the Zidane of old but I think he'd be more than capable of playing a role similar to that of Scholes in the last two years or so. Maybe not quite for a top team, but I think he'd get on a lower-level La Liga or Serie A team.
