Advice on second hand driver purchase

I have been offered a second hand Tylor made R7 Superquad driver in failry good nic for 100 euro. I am new to the whole golf game and although I have a driver (steel one) the head on it would be half the size as the one on this and would not be in the same league in terms of getting distance and accuracy of the tee as well as it being a stell driver and more heavier. Does 100 euro for this seem like good value or should I offer below a 100 euros? Any advice appreciated

I have one. Its a good driver but about 4 seasons old. Not that that matters - its a good design. Check it has the headcover and the tool for moving the weights around. I also have a similar R7 460 bought 2nd hand two years ago in a shop for €80. €100 is too steep though for a Superquad now. About €50-60 would be a more reasonable price.

I have one the past 4/5 years and find it great. I would say that it's a tough driver to hit consistantly as it has a funny roll & bulge measurement, the roll is big on it. I play off 4 and have got used to the quirks of the club, I would say possibly look for something else as €100 is way over priced for one of these, I would be thinking €50 max., as you can get many various drivers of a more recent vintage used for that type of cash.

    Hope this helps.

    Woody.
