Best Shingle beach near Galway?

    Mad question, but where is the best shingle/pebble beach in or around the Galway area? Looking for one with more stones than sand. Thanks:)

    The beach in rosshill up near the round tower, its not very deep so don't know if its what you are after

    An Dóilín @ Carraroe has what is known as the coral strand. No sand just bits of coral. Really amazing beach and beautiful clear water.
