Really want to get hair extensions, but don't want to damage my own hair.
I head about micro rings, and it seems the best idea, does anyone know more about them?
Can you get them in any colour, and how long do they ACTUALLY last?
How much do they usually cost?

Also, does anyone know of anyone doing them in Wexford or even Waterford area, can't find anything on the net.

    Thanks! :)

I really wanna just go somewhere and have them give them to me and put them in ya know, rather than getting them and then asking someone to put them in.
    Thanks though :)

Flip-In Hair Extensions offer a new, safer way to wear hair extensions which do not damage your natural hair in any way. No glue, clips or weaving, instead the hair extension comfortably sits on your head with the aid of an undetectable, transparent wire which is hidden by your own hair.

Easy and simple to use, it takes literally 1 minute to fit and style your hair and only 1 second to remove, hassle-free.

The quality of the hair is very important, that’s why we only use 100% human hair to ensure a subtle blend with your natural hair. It is fine to use with thinning or damaged hair. Once in, treat your thicker, fuller body of hair like your own, style using hairdryers, curling tongs and straightening irons to create your perfect look.

i have them they are handy out however my hair colour is not easy to match (auburn) so there is a tiny bit of a different but its not noticable when styled.
    ;)

I never heard of these ones before, they are real hair aswell?
The only reason I wanna get micro ring is because I know they will last if I take care of them, like I would even settle for clip in ones but I don't want that hassle of them falling out, etc.

they sure are real hair at and come in different hair colours and lengths i think i got the 12 inch because when i bought them my hair was so short. http://www.flipinhair.co.uk/ there is the official website with a link to irish stockists as well. they will last forever if cared for you can straighten curl them just like your own hair and its just a matter of sliding them onto your head. they can be quite pricy though mine were €160. what colour is your hair?

Wow, they sound brilliant, and I have already looked around for micro ring, and they are actually way more expensive...so that is very cheap in comparison, thanks a million :)

make sure and get a proper consultation in the salon your buying them from and try and bargain with them that if you buy them that you want your own hair styled around them, i did so i got a free trim. your colour should be easy to match. i do like mine i curled them for christmas and no one noticed they were extensions. only thing is you cant really tie them up. the good thing is you can use them for upstyling as well, you just put them in upside down and the stylist can work away happy days.
i have found a girl in limerick doing microring a full head between 180-200 strands for €200 which seems too good to be true. i hope to do a course on them as i love all things fake anything ill let you know!! :D

Ok, I decided that since I won't have that kinda money for a VERY long time, I'd get some clip ins in the meantime to try them out.... Any of the clip ins I have gotten in the past have been absolutely rubbish, but these ones are amazing, exact colour match, 100% real, I curled them, straightened them, they come with clips attached.

Put them in, and you can't even NOTICE they are extensions.... I am very impressed, and I like the look of them, so going to start saving for more permanent ones :)
