Can you use Baby Oil as a moisturiser? Does your skin absorb it?

I use Almond Oil or Apricot Kernel Oil (both very reasonable on iherb.com)on my skin straight after a shower. Makes my skin lovely and soft. I used to use baby oil but it started to make the skin around my chest spotty:( You are much better off with a more natural oil

If I use baby oil directly on my skin, it blocks my pores and I get spotty. I use a few drops in the bath and it's lovely:)

I have a bottle in the shower in case I`m short of time cause I have eczema an can`t go without something. Works grand on dry skin but I would imagine if it was blocking pores maybe skin has enough moisture of its own and doesn`t need anything.

I always use baby oil in the shower about two weeks before I go on hols as I find it helps me take to the sun easier. My skin does be lovley and soft and I never have a problem with blocked pores or spots. I also use it when I come home for a few weeks to stop my skin peeling. My skin is lovely and soft at the moment from using it (I'm going on hols next Saturday :D!!). It does take awhile to absorb so I wouldn't be using it if you are in a hurry!

It is lovely to soak in a bath with a few drops of baby oil in it, very relaxing!

So when you say 'use it in the shower' do you use it as a shower gel? Or put it on after the shower as a moisturiser?

Well I use shower gel too and then put on the baby oil after while the water is still running!

I rub off the excess water and put the oil on my wet skin, with the oils I use I also put some on my face and hair! But I wouldn't advise to do that with baby oil.
