Dental treatment Ireland vs Hungary

Last week I had to get one of my top teeth extracted. At the moment I am wearing a partial denture to replace it but in time I would like to look into getting either a bridge or implant to replace it. As either of these treatments seem to cost a colossal amount of money in Ireland, I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has experience of either of these treatments in Hungary and how much it costs compared to Dublin. Also how much time does it take in relation to me taking time off work. Thanks a mill!

Moved from N&F, but please take note of the dental charter regarding "We do not allow requests for pricing/treatment details abroad."

The costs in Ireland are not colossal and are often far less than that for travelling, especially when you factor in the travel etc. My advice is DO NOT travel. It is easy for very extensive damage to done to the other teeth or gums and bone if the treatment is not of a high quality. Get the best job you can when you can afford it. A cheap job will probably cost you far more in the long run.

Search the forum, there is a good few threads of people asking for advice, ignoring it, going and getting butchered and then having to get remedial treatment at multiple times the cost. Many threads with the dentists on hear showing pictures. We dont need another thread on this topic.
