    Usually 2-4 weeks before your medical card runs out they send you a renewal form. Its a lot shorter than the original one.

    www.medicalcard.ie is dedicated to medical cards. You could drop them an email and ask them or check if you are eligible to renew online.

    Over 70s are usually given a card for a minimum of 5 years and in many cases 10 yrs, so they will not get an annual review form.
