Pedestrians walking on wrong side of the road!

Have to get this off my chest pisses me off a lot lately.

I live in a rural area but its a popular walking route for walkers from the nearby town.

The road is a small enough country road yet its busy enough with cars and plenty of power walkers and dog walkers. I reckon 95% of all the pedestrians all walk on the wrong side of the road and its very dangerous for me trying to get by them. Come to think of it i regularly see cyclists too cycling on the wrong side of the bloody road!

Bring back tv adverts teaching road safety please.........:eek:

What side were they walking/cycling on?

If your cycling, you keep on the left, with the traffic.

If your walking, you stay on the right, facing the traffic.

If they all walking on the road, maybe you should drive on the footpaths then.

I had a dream the other night about walking on the wrong side of the road [not in the way the OP means, confused?]...but in reality I use the going against traffic method

When you meet anyone on a rural road you have to salute.
That's the rule

Eh Doh!, ye they are walking on the left and cycling on the right i bet readers are even confused and unsure on boards ha ha LOL oh, and i bet the majority confused are women.

Majority i see on wrong sides are women, i am being honest here but thats the way it is down here in Biffoland.

I totally ignore that rule and walk on roads strategically because motorists are retards.

ok, so!!!
cyclists cycle on left because they are supposed to cycle on left!
treat them like any obsticle, is it safe to overtake? then overtake!! give them plenty of room!

pedestrians, different kettle of fish, should walk on right, towards oncoming traffic, HOWEVER, if your looking for a lift, from deep dark recess of memory, you walk on left!

not many hitchhikers now though so majority of pedestrians should be walking towards traffic!

unless your driving on a footpath!!!!!
