    This takes place Monday June 6th over 36 holes at Sunningdale.

    96 players compete for 10 spots

    4 Irish currently make the field

    Peter Lawrie
    Gareth Maybin
    Shane Lowry
    Michael Hoey

    Paul McGinely is 4th reserve.

    Other names of interest are Vijay Singh and Chris Wood.

    Three-time major winner and former world number one Vijay Singh has pulled out of the Open Championship qualifying event at Sunningdale on Monday.

    The Fijian, 48, who dropped out of the world's top-50, will instead play the FedEx St Jude Classic in Memphis and could still earn an Open exemption.
