There's a huge shopping centre in the middle of the city you can't miss it!! My friend is living over there and she sometimes heads out to the Trafford Centre- presume you can take a tram out to it... Enjoy Manchester- I would have shopped more if it wasn't for the old baggage allowance :)

The Arndale Centre is fab, it's the one the person above is speaking about as well I think! Loads of choice there! Too be honest I was kind of disappointed with Trafford Centre last time I was there, but think they didn't have as good a selection because it was in between seasons!

I LOVE shopping in manchester - it's big enough to have all the shops, but small enough to do it in a few days..........

the Arndale centre is great, but I love the Trafford Centre - you can get the 250 bus from Manchester City Centre to the door; try Asda across the road from it also...........I haven't been for the past 3 years, but the last time I headed over, I just flew in on Friday night, stayed in the Tulip Hotel, spent the day in the Trafford Centre and flew out again on Saturday night - oh happy day..............enjoy! :D

Used to go over to Macclesfield atleast twice a year, and the visit was not complete without a trip to the Trafford Centre...do not leave Manchester without going there, fantastic shopping centre, it has absolutley everything you'll need, and more!...you will get lost in there ;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE Manchester for shopping! :)

Trafford centre is a must. <3 lots of high street shops and little hidden treasures. I got lost in town once and found so many bargains! <3

Head to Market Street and go to the Arndale Centre it has Topshop and Next and Urban Outfitters. Also go to The Triangle and the Trafford Centre has a deadly cinema as well.

I'm going back to Manchester in November and can't wait :D:D Enjoy your trip!

Oh! and if you're in Rusholme and want something to eat two words... 'Curry Mile' :D:D
