Heuston to Limerick train delayed

    Does anyone know anything about the delay on the 15:25 train from Heuston to Limerick?

    It's been delayed for almost two hours in Portarlington and they have announced that it was a mechanical fault. Other trains from Heuston have been delayed by it.

    Must be a serious problem. I wonder if it's more serious than a "mechanical fault".

    I saw some tweets hinting at a points failure in newbridge but nothing definite, could be just signal faults due to the weather?

    Yup,was on the 5pm.Meant to be in Cork at 7.30 and didnt get in until 9.30. Heard that it was the earlier train having a door that wouldnt close or something.Also air conditioning wasnt working on the train.How do I get a full refund?
