I just put in an order for a standard roadlite 7.0 (pre-payment not paid yet) and the planned delivery date is week 28 which is the second or third week in July. Do they really take 5/6 weeks to deliver?

they have to be made, they don't always have a stock of them ready to go.

Yeah, they really do take as long as they say they might. Mine was shipped during week 19 which was exactly when it said it would. Worth waiting for though. I love that thing.

Someone told me recently that they lash 21% vat onto those lovely retail prices when you actually go to check out. Is that true? Kinda pi$$es all over them as bargains if so.

No the price shown is vat inclusive so for the roadlite 7.0 - it works out at roughly 1255 with shipping

It'd be advisable to up that by €13 to include a spare RD hanger.

I bought one in october myself, the 5.0 as a winter bike and it came 9 days early. i'm sure you have seen the cost of everything since you put the pre order thing in??, imo they are great to deal with and the bikes are fantastic for the money.
