Like what does her job entail? Does she actually do any work during the day apart from visiting schools? Same with Taoiseach. What does he actually do in work when he gets in at 9am on a monday? Tell me wise people of AH.

Their main role is not to make a 'holy show of us' – as long as they manage this most people seem to think their doing a brilliant job.

She signs the bills that ban head-shops, drugs, etc.

She couldn't "have that type of stuff". Even though drunk driving contributes many more time to deaths than "that type of stuff".

Everytime someone says "The President of Ireland...", she says "Thats me"

    Thats what she does.

She basically acts as a figurehead and head of state to do all the stuff that Enda doesn't do.

The idea being that the head of state should be a neutral rallying figure who everyone can respect and have loyalty to, basically acting as the state personified (and in fairness to Robinson and McAleese, they've been very good at this) They also act as a sort of super-ambassador, heading around to other countries and representing Ireland.

Basically, they do what the Queen does and the more ceremonial duties of the US president.

And whenever she is mention with her fella he is always refeered to as "Dr McAlesse". Enough with the "aristocracy".

Wouldn't it be cool if Kofi Annan was her fella though.

Enda spends four hours trying to get his daily problem solved in the PI forum, and goes to the pub at 1pm to drown his sorrows because no-one can help him. He leaves the pub at 3pm and kicks an empty Dutch Gold can up and down the pavement until it's time to go home to the missus.

He has been spotted late at night wearing a hoody, and spraying "fuck you Veradkar" on bush-shelters.

TDs don't just go off on holidays when the Dáil isn't in session; they have to do constituency work.

"Oh, great. Meeting my constituents. It's like being Simon Cowell, only without the ability to say, "**** off, you're mental"

What does the title of 'Dr.' have to do with the aristocracy?
