t9 keypad

    sorry if this has been done before but i am new to this android phone stuff. i got a sonyericsson x8 and i dont like the qwerty keypad. any one know of a good t9 key pad that i can download?
    i downloaded touchpal but i cant find a t9 keypad option on it? i only have a free version do! i download another one but it would not remember any words i put into it myself. i would like one with a t9 keypad and one that can remember words i put in myself if anyone can recomend a good one tthat would be great. i wouldnt mind paying for a good one

    You can just change the one you have to what you are looking for surely? Isn't that a standard option?

    Just go to settings, and then there should be options in there, via a language and keyboard menu option, to choose qwerty or keypad formats. That is what it is on my Desire anyhow, and I presume a standard android thing.

    there's an app you got to down load i found a lot on it and everything seems to point to the same down loads which no longer works i bought one today and lasted a hole 15 min walking around dunnes stores trying to figure it out before getting a refund i couldn use it what so ever i cant text at the same speed i would with t9
    they hadn a clue about it in the store or any other store i rang just googleing it here and came across this thread still havnt found a solution my self but will post back if i do
