    Hi all,
Looking at a house in Johnstown but wondering how the area is for commuting. Can drive but would prefer to take the train and have heard there's a charge for parking at Sallins station.

There is a feeder bus from Naas to sallins which serves certain trains, it is operated by Tom cross in Sallins Afaik so maybe contact them or Irish Rail for times? There is also the Town Link bus operated by JJ Kavanaghs which operates between Naas and Clane serving Sallins station. I dont think there is any direct bus between Sallins and Johnstown but there is one 123 that picks up in sallins at 7.40am and you can get the 126 then to Johnstown
