    Farmers Journal front page today.

What's going on. Why are prices increasing by this much?

    Anyone at a mart recently?

What price are Weanling Bulls and Heifers making?

What price could someone expect to pay for 1 1/2 or 2 year old heifers for bulling?

paper never refused ink. Fancy young animals are making decent money, the producers badly need this. IMV things have quietened in the last few weeks as for finishers its impossible to have the finance as the price of animals have gone way up. €100k dont buy you much these days.

STUPID headline. Read the small print. It's compared to a year ago.

I don't recall the journal, ever having equally big headlines, showcasing cost increases in inputs, which are absorbing any pick up we have on cattle prices.

Very true, and I've already heard smart comments from non-farmers about "them types" "creaming it while the country goes under":(
