Has anyone around Cork seen signs for this? It's on a few roundabouts but the sign is tiny and every time it catches my eye I'm gone past it. Anyone got any info on it?

I'm not involved with it in any way just in case someone thinks this is a discrete (or not so discrete) attempt at advertising the event. I'm happy for someone to PM me details of it

Got a leaflet on this at the outdoor adventure show a few weeks back. Just pulled it out, think this is the one you mean. It's called the Bike N Hike Challenge in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation and the Mercy Hospital Foundation it's on Saturday July 16th (what is it with that date this year, Ras na Riochta, Jog in the Bog and Race to Glory are all that day!). It's E20 to register and E200 sponsorship has to be raised. You get lunch and a BBQ after. The website is www.irisheart.ie/bikenhike Hope this helps, always wanted to climb carrauntouhil but think I'll be doing race 2glory this day.

Are many people doing this? Was considering taking part if it's not too late.
