Lipstick sealer

Hello ladies (and gents - although I think this may be a women-only topic! :D)

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a lipstick sealer other than lipcote? That's the only one I've used but I find that it tastes yuck and doesn't work very well, plus it sometimes makes my lipstic peel off.

Does anyone know of any others that work? I'm a red lippie fan and would like it to survive a night out (as would my boyfriend - think he's sick of ending up wearing more of it than I am!:P).

I've heard Benefits 'She-laq' is good, but some reviews I've read say that it can cause the peel-y effect and doesn't look great, so I think I'd need to get some more opinions before investing as it's not cheap. Any advice greatly received!
