    Hi,

I like to wear converse shoes/runners every now and then but they hurt my knees after a night out cos they're so flat.

What kind of insoles can I get that will make them not-so-flat?

    Thanks

If your knees hurt it might be worth seeing a physio? They can recommend the right kind of insoles for you. Otherwise Boots sell them off the shelf so maybe one of the pharmacists could point you in the right direction?

Not sure if I need to see a physio, it's only when I wear the flat converse.

Anytime I wear my adidas runners or shoes my knees are fine.

    Thanks for your advice!

Orthotics. I got mine in a medical supply place on Talbot St, but they were €30 I think. A friend got some for her Cons in Walgreens last week (we were in the states, her first pair of Cons) for like ten bucks. Sheesh. basically you need to put an arch back in - something like

You can buy gel insoles in Champion Sports for about a tenner.

I have a couple of types - a heal cup and also one that goes from the heal to the arch giving support under your foot!

I use them all the time! In my little flat shoes, and in my runners too, they're fantastic!!!

I had the same thing & I went to a Physiotherapist.
He told me I have flat feet & I had to buy Orthotic Insoles.
If I didnt buy them I could have developed Arthritis in a few years..
It might be worth your while going to see someone just incase..
I can no longer wear any shoes with no support in them :(
    I miss my Converse!
