In the letter Sky sent out about their price freeze, they mentioned that Sky subscribers will soon be able to watch Sky TV wherever they want with Sky Anywhere. Interestingly, Sky had mentioned the same service in a letter sent out to UK customers, but called the service Sky Go.

    Sky stated that:

"Take your Sky with you with SkyGo:
This summer look out for the launch of our new mobile TV service which will come at no extra cost to Sky TV customers."

"The exact rules around the number of devices you can register to Sky Anywhere are a little different from Sky Player. Sky Anywhere will be accessible on a maximum of 4 registered devices, including a range of mobile devices."

It probably sounds more exciting than it actually is. In Germany, Sky Go is just simply Sky Sports on your mobile/iOS device. I'm hoping we'll at least get all the Sky Player content accessible on our mobile device.

Edit: Apologies, meant to be posted in the Satellite forum.
