We at Just Groove are extremely proud to present the Irish debut of Ferrispark Records label head Scott Ferguson on Friday June 17th in Revolution's Rooftop Bar, Waterford.

Having grown up just outside of Detroit, Scott moved into the city in his 20s. He cites black American music and the music of Theo Parrish and Kenny Dixon Jr as his biggest influences.

In 2001 he established his celebrated imprint Ferrispark Records. With the focus on quality raw House music, the label is responsible for some of the finest Deep House cuts of the last 10 years. Make sure to check out tracks such as the Marvin Belton collaborations "Bleed To Be Free" and "Any Day Now" which sound as fresh today as they did on release.
Other labels he's produced for include Third Ear, Psychostasia Recordings, Deep Explorer and DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolos.

On top of being such an accomplished producer, he is an exceptional DJ. Anyone who has ever listened to "Below The Green", his show on My House Your House (airs every 2nd Monday from 6-8pm) can attest to his vast knowledge of music. During the two hour broadcast he seems to effortlessly blend House, Techno, Disco and more in a flow that most of us can only aspire to. In a club, listeners can expect to hear the best of House and Techno, especially that of and inspired by Detroit.

Support from Chris Fitz, Enda House and Ian Dalton.

Admission on the night is FREE and with the calibre of act on offer, we think you'll be doing well to find a better deal anywhere.
We'll be having a collection for the charity "Aware" on the night so we ask everyone to make a donation at their own discretion. You can find more info on Aware below.

This promises to be a great night in the intimate surroundings of the Rooftop Bar. With limited capacity we advise everyone to get in there early.

    Taken from Aware's website:

"Aware is a voluntary organisation formed in 1985 by a group of interested patients, relatives and mental health professionals, whose aim was to assist that section of the population whoses lives are directly affected by depression. 400,000 different people suffer from depression in Ireland at any one time but many hide their condition and never get help. Sadly, over 500 people take their own life each year. Since its foundation in 1985, Aware has been working energetically to bring support to depression sufferers and their families, and to dispel the myths and misunderstandings of this devastating illness."
