People like different brands or flavours, but there isn't a huge amount of difference. Pick a whey that is at least 80g of protein per 100g of product. After lifting, make up a shake with a scoop of the whey and some glucose.

The rest of the time, eat real food.

On the fitness forum, you say you want to lose weight, here you want to bulk up.

I'd say you need to figure out your goals before you start worrying which supplements is right

    WHY IS THAT ?

Optimum Nutrition Whey is dead on 80protein per 100grams

Usn 100% whey is only 70.5protein per 100grams

Because if it's not 80% protein or close, then you are paying for fillers, often some form of sugar. None of those proteins are cheap, it is daft to pay protein prices for sugar.

    Why would you not change?

80g verses 70g is reason enough alone

    Hi,

Two good sources for Protein are My Protein and Iron Science

If using My Protein, feel free to use the discount code MP289427 (this is my personal discount code). If using Iron Science, use MT5 (this is a site wide discount code and unrelated to me personally).

Both will get you 5% of your first order.

What's Iron Science like for shipping fees and times?

Iron Science delivery to Ireland is £14.89 - this is a flat rate so, if you're making a smaller order, you'd definately go for myProtein.

If you buy 3 * 4.5kg, the shipping costs the same and you get a free pack of creatine.

Shipping is free for orders over £200.

whats the difference between whey and whey isolate?

Isolate has a higher protein content and, as a result, slightly lower carb and fat content.

However, with the size of the price difference between standard Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate, you're usually as well just going for the standard whey concentrate.

As mention isolate is expensive, but concentrate has a reasonable fat and carb content. What normally happenss, is that brands such as ON or MyProtein sell blended protein. this is basically isolate and concentrate mixed together. It is a compromise between cost adn the protein content.
