Places application

    Quick question. There is a "Places" application on some Android phones, which lists various restaurants, hotels etc and reviews of them.

    Does anybody know where this data is taken from?

    So they do use Google Places? I thought as much, but I couldn't find anywhere on the application that confirmed it. :)
