Irish driving licence id

    Quick one guys. Im completing a form and it requires my drivers licence ID number? Is the ID number the '' Driver number'' a 9 digit number in black ink or is it the '' stock number '' beginning with the letter B followed by a 7 digit number in red ink:confused:

    The one with the letter before it is what i was asked for as the id number

    I always use the B number when filling out any forms ie insurance etc.
