Anyone played here recently? How does it compare to Luttrellstown, St. Margarets etc

Can anyone recommend/or not a round there?

I really like it, better than St. Margrets in my opinion. Greens are always in great condition.

Cheers mate. Have a welcomed day off tomorrow :D so fancy a round outside the home club so it's a toss up between there (Roganstown) and Ashbourne GC.

Castleknock's €30 entry  into tomorrow's stableford comp quickly turned my attention to elsewhere.

Castleknock is your home club and they're charging €30 to enter the competition? Couldn't be right, would get a good open day elsewhere for that alright. What's the usual weekend members competition entry fee? It's €10 in my home club which includes a 2's competition but still think that's a bit pricey.

Anyway let us know how you get on in Roganstown, playing there for the first time next month with a work society. Enjoy your round and your day off

County Louth is my home club. I had intentions of checking out Castleknock but the fee is too high.

Still undecided on Ashbourne or Roganstown. I'll let you know how the latter plays if I go there. Cheers

both tracks very nice, ashbourne probably more of a thinking game with tougher holes.

i find roganstown quite long with most 2nd shots with long irons on par 4's.

the more I think of it, i think ashbourne is more of a challenge and you may enjoy that more

Ventured to Ashbourne GC in the end which was probably the wrong choice.

It's very average and a little on the easy side :(

The greens were in tremendous shape though so not going to complain too much ;)
