Looking for information on getting tickets to Snooker tournaments

    Hi there

    I'm looking to get a gift for someone, of tickets to one of the Snooker tournaments in October, in the UK.
    I have no idea on how to go about getting a good deal.

    Can anyone help?

    There is never a problem getting tickets for tournaments in the UK, normally you just contact the box office at the venue and they will sell them over the phone to you. The only problem i can see for you is the fact that the governing body have only one ranking tournament scheduled for October, the country and venue have not been confirmed yet, the only other events on in October are the Premier League fixtures in which again the venues have not been confirmed yet, however there is one PTC tournament on,it's a smaller event and you may not see the top players competing.
    If I may suggest to you is to go to the UK C'ships in York in December, it's the second biggest event on the calendar and well worth a visit.
