Hi, some friends and I are thinking of going on a surfing holiday in Europe, probably Portugal, in early September. Anyone been on a holiday like this and have any recommendations? Thanks! :)

Check out Eirceira - about an hour from Lisbon. www.eirceira.net is a good place to start.

Stayed there last year and loved it - but didn't surf so can't give any recommendations there.

Ericeira is a great place, and September is the best time as it is relatively quiet compared to August but just as warm. Have stayed in the ecolodges with surfholidays.com and would highly recommend. Biarritz is also a great spot, and Ryanair fly there - bit more expensive to wine and dine but an amazing city.
