Ah yes, the Tesco raspberry swirl cheesecake. Legend has it that the swirl is so swirly it instantly confuses anyone who looks at it.

Manchester City must be in charge of setting the prices in Tescos.

Actually I think youll find the Coriolis effect is negligible in cake swirls, being 30 million times less of a force than Gravity, and thus and difference in cake swirl between the two himispheres is down to cake creation factors, not natural forces.

A fiver for Tesco own-brand ice cream when you could buy a tub of Ben & Jerry's for more or less the same amount? Now THAT'S the truly shocking issue here.

Manchester City must be in charge of setting the prices in Tescos.

Manchester City tickets are surprisingly cheaper than quite a few premiership teams.

    Season ticket prices 2010/11
    Arsenal – £893 – £1,825
    Liverpool – £680 – £785
    Spurs – £650 – £1,175
    West Ham – £585 – £830
    Chelsea – £550 – £1,210
    Wolves – £522 – £630
    Man Utd – £513 – £931
    Everton – £443 – £631
    Man City – £420 – £515
    West Brom – £399 – £499
    Stoke City – £399 – £599
    Sunderland – £395 – £845
    Blackpool – £382 – £440
    Bolton – £369 – £399
    Fulham – £369 – £899
    Birmingham – £360 – £580
    Aston Villa – £350 – £550
    Newcastle – £330 – £975

Ugh - there's a Tesco I used to go to in Dublin where the guy behind the counter had no neck and a bad attitude. It was like being served by a rhinoceros. Probably.

So if someones genuinely goin up for these 2 for €4, when 1 is €1.89, can they ask for without the offer or what  just tryin to picture it, ....

    "Can I get them seperate?"
    "But they are"
"No I mean without the offer please, as in I just bought them individually"
"Mmm, but their on offer, don't you wanna avail of our offer?"
"The offer that punishes you for buying multiple's"
"That can't be right, let me get someone to check that out"

Noticed at my local Tesco recently that some bakery items normally reduced to €0.20 at the end of the day were suspiciously reduced to €0.02, I suspect a misprint but what they don't know can't hurt, right?
