texting a meteor number in america?

    Hi just a quick question, if I wanted to text a meteor number thats in America at the moment do I have to add on a pre fix or anything or can I just text the normal nymber like 085xxxxxxx?

    You only need to do things differently if you are out of the country in which case you need to use the full international format of the number which also works when you are in Ireland so it's best to store all numbers in your phone as +3538xyyyyyyy and then you can call and text from home and abroad.

    The same applies to landlines, replace the initial 0 of the Irish area code with +353
