I have shopped around extensively for ink for my epson printer for ages and i have consistently found that Amazon is the best site- there is one crew called 'wantmoreink' and they are cheap as chips, great quality and they deliver super fast. These cartridges have like twice/three times the amount of ink in them as the original genuine epson cartridges and are an absolute fraction of the price and the exact same quality. I'm not sure if your printer is roughly same as mine (sx400) but you can get a little chip resetting device that you use with your non-genuine cartridges and it tricks your printer into thinking that you have inserted a new cartridge which means you can use up the ink instead of having to throw half of the non-genuine cartridges.

Antocann, I've been using "compatabile" cartridges from inkjet.ie and it's proven to be a real false economy. The printer keeps rejecting the cartridges stating that they cannot be recognised. I've tried all kinds of things to solve the problem without success.

Are these CIS systems really as good as they sound? They look a bit DIY!! Do they really fool the printer into accepting them as genuine cartridges and do those tubes not get clogged???

I'm a firm believer in the old adage that "if it looks too good to be true, it usually is to good to be true" so I'm a bit wary of lashing out £55 and I'm even more wary of trying to fit it having looked at the installation instructions :confused:http://www.inkexpress.co.uk/catalogue/Ink-Systems/Epson/Stylus-SX425W/CISS-SX425W.html

Do you know if there is any way to over ride the printer when it doesn't detect compatable cartridges?

    Ben

there realy easy to install, they do seem quite expesnsive , i usualy but them with a printer , but you can get 100 mls of ink online for 1 euro per color wich is great value

no the tubes dont get clogged , you just have to remeber to keep the ink tanks and the same height as the printer

they use the latest chips and setting so when the ink shows nearly empty u press a button wait a second and it shows full ink again

instalation is of that one is kida like this one
