Lorry clutch/gearbox question

Just bought an old lorry over the weekend. Its a Foden S104R with the 5.9 cummins engine, 9 speed Eaton gearbox and rockwell axel.

Anyway, I am probably just paranoid as it drives perfect, but when standing still in neutral, if you let out the clutch there seems to be increased noise, press the clutch in and the noise stops. There is no vibration, and as I say, the thing drives perfect.

The question is, is the noise just clutch rattle and they all do the same, or is the clutch release bearing on the way out, or are the gearbox bearings on the way out?

    Old school kool!

It is probably just the 'box, the eaton box is fairy strong but noisy. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Throw up a pic if you get the chance, you don't see many of them around here anymore

My DH says that the noise could be the 'release bearing' however it could last for years and may not.....
